My observation... based on i140 application
My case was sent to NSC and it remained in NSC, however applications of 5 colleagues of mine got transfered to TSC... and another 3 remained at NSC
There seems to be a pattern on how they transfer cases from NSC to TSC based on last name (this is totally based on a very small specimen)... posting it here to know if it holds any water
Last name starting with A, C, E, G, I, K..... transfered to TSC
Last name starting with B, D, F, H, J, L..... stayed at NSC
any comments? again this is only based on my observation on a very small # of cases

Maybe you can give me my answer. I imported a file from Swift 3D, published, F12 to view, and then went control enter to view the size. After almost choking when I saw the size it added to my SWF (255K for a 7 letter word, spinning) I decided immediatley that was intolerable to my movie size requirements, and deleted the entire Swift 3D animation from my Movie. Took it out of the frames, the library, every place imaginable. And I was floored to find what it did to my Fla. It ruined it. My Fla went from 605K to 8.9 MEG. For all the various purposes of how I use an Fla, it is ruined. The ghost of that Swift 3D stays with my Fla even today. Like a cancer, cannot get rid of it. Can you tell me how to get it out so I can restore my Fla?

Do you have a legal reference for the > 50 miles rule ? In my case it is just 10 miles (moved from one town to next town). So I guess I am fine ?

it is not all black and white, if your previous LCA covers the new work location, you should be fine, else a new LCA is required.

As per my attorney it should be during the time of 140 you have to apply along with a copy of old PD.
Now I am not sure.
But the point is - Has he/she said it can not be done at I-485?:confused:

Option 1 - Take Travel Insurance for 15 days. For young folks that is not pricey and covers emergencies.
Option 2 - Just ignore....It is a matter of 15 days. Insurance is good, desirable, and highly recommended......but it is not something that deserves too much worry for 15 days for any healthy person.
I would highly recommend against option#2. I had accident on first day of driving after coming back from India. I had been driving for 5yrs before it. Luckily nothing happened but you never know and that is why you have insurance. For this scenario check health coverage on your auto policy. But how many scenarios are you going to cover? Best to get some kind of coverage. It is not advisable to live in this country without health insurance. It can make you go back to your home country/file bankruptcy etc. Americans are not stupid to have such costly insurance policies.

Hello,
I am on L1 B visa here for last 2.5 years working for MNC (Fortune 200). The benefits folks recently contacted me and told me that I was not allowed to participate in US retirement plans (401K) due to L1 visa restrictions, and that they are returning all my previous contributions and earnings back to me as an income. They said that they allowed to participate me for past 2.5 years by mistake.
My question is if this is true ? Are there other folks on L1 who are participating in 401 K plans ? what are my options here ?

No worries. I have travelled through Frankfort with AP and had no issues. In fact, an officer did ask me for my US visa and i showed him the AP document. Seems to me that frankfort officials do understand the AP document.

As soon as you use EAD you will lose h1b for sure.......Moonlighting is something you would want to explore but the way USCIS explains it and define it.......it might be a big risk to take by using EAD but this is just me........

Could any please provide some insight about the companies "Unemployment Wage report" for the state of California?
This is the only query as stated in the 221(g) form got from Chennai embassy for your reference.
"State Unemployment Wage Reports, showing all wages paid to each employee in the state, for the past two quarters as filed to State of California (This should not be payroll reports, but the actual forms filed to the State authorities listing each employee and wages paid during the quarter.)"
Could you please provide me the exact form name and number to submit through the dropbox. Also some explanation if possible on how the form will look like in order to track it down?
Any help in this regard is greatly appreciated.
