My company is closing offices and we all will be working from home. My I140 is cleared and I am in process of extending my H1 which expires in june 09.company has no office at india.

It is a bad idea. It will allow people to misuse it. Once they are pre-approved they may not care about staying in status. They will not change jobs in their area of work. You may find an engineer doing some other profession. How will something like this help USA. We should stop seeing everything from - How it will help me. See how it will help USA to make good suggestions USCIS will listen.

Can I inquire from USPS just the status of the money order and not accept any refunds.

Company B can not apply based on EB1, They have to apply only in EB2 or EB3.
To Join company b you have to use
L1
- not possible.
H1
- October 2009 possibly if you get your visa
- Green card not in EB1
EAD
- Not assure. Depends on Labor, 140 then 485 filing
Last option
- Go to india work with them for a year and comeback in L1 and then apply on EB1 must be faster. Provided you get L1 to come here. I hear now a days they are rejecting L1s left and right.

I am thinking of switching the company and look for new job. I am not sure how this will work when I am on EAD and not expecting my GC to come soon as my priority date (EB3) is March 2005.
Possibly the new job will not be 100% aligned with the job desc that was put during the LC.
Do any one can help me guide what are my options?

Budget second
then start selecting.
in the $1000 bracket there's some choice.
Personally, it's a tough space......, glad I am not making that decision.
for personal bias reasons, only the 350D or D70/50 are worth looking at.
Olympus makes nice gear, but in a newer format and has expensive accessories
